Miami Fun Rental

Responsive Website Designed and Implemented for a Versatile Rental Company: Boats, Cars, and Jet Skis
Miami Fun Rental

Project Details

Miami Fun Rental is a mobile-first, responsive website designed and implemented for a Miami-based boat, car, and jet ski rental company. WordPress was chosen as the platform to accommodate the site's functionality, time, and budget requirements.

Adapting to User Preferences and Devices

As the company began serving Miami's guests and residents, Instagram emerged as their primary channel for communication, promotion, and booking. With this in mind, we designed the website to accommodate the majority of users accessing it via mobile devices, prioritizing information layout, clarity, and ease of use on-the-go.

Simultaneously, we recognized that some clients searched for car and boat rental services while planning their vacations, likely using laptops. As a result, we ensured a seamless experience across both mobile and desktop devices.

Establishing Brand Consistency Through Color

The website's color scheme was developed around the company logo, utilizing Trypan Blue and Red Orange Color Wheel hues to establish brand consistency across various products. This choice of colors is particularly effective as, according to color psychology, blue symbolizes confidence and calmness (as well as water), while orange represents energy and fun – making it an excellent combination for promoting new products.

Developing a Streamlined and Flexible Website Experience

The project scope encompassed the design and implementation of six primary client-facing pages, along with the integration of an initial set of car models, categorized descriptions, and filtering options to meet current requirements. Once the website received team approval, I connected it to the domain name, set up hosting, and launched the site. Built on the WordPress platform, the website enables SEO optimization, email marketing integration, and analytics. The client can easily manage inventory, quantities, and prices through the WordPress admin panel. The entire project, from inception to completion, took approximately six weeks to develop.
